COMPANY PROFILE

In 1990, Frank Martin launched Martin Dollhouses. Frank’s woodworking experience began in 1975 when his first daughter learned to walk. He began designing and buildingheirloom wooden toys for both of his daughters and for local retail stores in the Salt Lake City area. In 1988, he undertook a challenge to build a Barbie®-sized, all-wood dollhouse of heirloom quality and design. He thought if he could produce an affordable product that met this goal while exceeding his competitors’ products, he would start a company and sell them. From the pictures on this site, you can see he accomplished this goal.

With an RV waiting for his use, Frank decided in late 2015 that he needed to get that beauty out on the road. Frank and Robin (Bell) Robinson teamed up and formed Martin & Bell Heirlooms, LLC.

Since the age of 6, Robin has been designing and making all kinds of doll items. By age 8, she had designed and made her own Barbie® furniture and house. Descending from 5 generations of Bells who were woodworkers, finish carpenters, and designers, she brings her technical woodworking background along with 30+ years in corporate America in sales, marketing, and general business management to Martin Dollhouses©. In addition to woodworking, she’s an expert in all kinds of sewing – from quilting and clothing to draperies and upholstery. She’s also known to do a little drawing, painting, decorating, and just about any craft you can think of. It has been her passion and life long goal to focus completely on bringing out the inner child in all of us, whether they are man or woman, boy or girl, 6 or 60.

Martin Dollhouses is proud to be recognized by USAMadeToys.net for selling only hand-made in the USA dollhouses.
